#53 – Playin’ and Slayin’ – Around the Horn
The gang is back in the studio! Well almost all of us. In the main topic we do our version of Around the Horn and tackle a variety subjects including; a check-in on diversity in gaming a year later, gaming with strangers, player agency in RPGs, and “There is no they”. Before that we start out with our normal what are we playing, buying, building, reading and drinking and excitingly finish up with discussion of some upcoming events!

On this episode of Playin’ and Slayin’ the guys welcome their friends from Cubic Shenanigans, Dan and Brendan on to the show. They are two other local Milwaukee area podcasters that continue to churn out great content focused on all things Games Workshop. The group discusses a number of topics from gaming origin stories to speculation on what the new 3rd Edition of Age of Sigmar will bring to the table. Josh, Troy, and Ty recently got together for a game night and discuss the new boardgames they brought to the table; My City by Reiner Knizia, and Marvel United by Eric Lang. They also set new hobby accountability goals, and touch on a few books and shows they have been consuming. Somewhere in the middle of this episode is hidden a real gem of a joke.
