GenCon 2013 – Space Hulk
We are back from GenCon! I’ll put up a full recap of the adventures of the BoD crew in a couple days, after I’ve had a chance to recover from the four day marathon that is GenCon. Until then you can look back at the twitter feed and check out these pictures from our big Space Hulk event on Saturday.

Ty’s Zombicide scenario for GenCon
We are now counting down the hours until GenCon. Last night we did a dress rehersal of Ty’s Zombicide scenario for GenCon. Our six survivors have decided that barricading themselves in the building will no longer work so now they must find the keys and gas and make a break for the car.
Ty’s running Zombicide Friday @ 11:00am , 2:00pm and 5:00pm and Saturday @ 2:00p. Stop by and say hi if you are there.
Last night we got lucky and everyone made it to the car!
GenCon approaches
Space Hulk playtest – thanks to Josh for the photo
It is a little more than a week until GenCon so we are working on finishing up things for the events we are running this year. One of those things is adding a second level to the Space Hulk board. The guys from Creative Gamescapes (they make the terrain pieces we use) have been gracious enough to provide some support and also sent me a sample of their new Spaceship X crew miniatures. They have just launched a kickstarter to produce the crew minis as well as finance another run of Spaceship X plastics, and if they are successful enough to meet their stretch goals. produce some new rooms/corridors and the Level 2 parts in plastic.
The Space Hulk event is in pretty good shape although there always is more details that can be added. The 40K RPGs sessions are in good shape too but I still need to printout the character sheet and handouts. And finally on the Zombicide front Ty is busy painting zombies.
the B.o.D. at GenCon 2013
Ty and I will be running a variety of events at GenCon this year. I’ll be running a Space Hulk event twice on Saturday along with a Deathwatch session on Friday night. Ty is running a custom Zombicide scenario on Friday and Saturday. All the events sold out in the first few hours of event registration. Look for previews and more information on the events coming in the next few weeks. 79 days until the most wonderful time of the year!
